Inicio Corporate Finance is an independently owned and operated corporate finance boutique that specialises in company sales, company acquisitions, and the raising of capital for UK SMEs.
Inicio is latin for inspire which succintly describes our approach to our services and relationships with our partners, to be inspiring. We believe (and can demonstrate) that SMEs are the backbone of the British economy and deserve the quality of advice, service, and access provided to larger businesses.
At the core of what we do is building relationships. We do not issue engagement terms until we completely understand your objectives, and we are confident that we can help and add value. This can take weeks, months, and in some cases, years. We will provide you insight and guidance as we get to know each other, and all we ask in exchange is for you to teach us about your business. If we can’t help you, we will help you find someone that can.

Scott is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland, having previously graduated from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
He has over 20 years’ experience in lower and mid-market company MBO/I’s, acquisitions and company sales. Principal sector experience is in healthcare, leisure, energy services and technology.
Scott’s career has geographically spanned Scotland and the South of England, through his time as a Director with RBS Structured Finance, CDI Global, Hall Morrice Corporate Finance, Clydesdale Bank and AAB Corporate Finance.
Given his time in corporate finance and banking Scott leads Inicio, advising businesses on their sales, acquisitions, debt and equity funding requirements.
Although a former endurance cyclist, having twice completed the National 24-Hour Championship, he now spends his spare time in Kent, is a follower of Aberdeen Football Club and enjoys trips to Murrayfield and Twickenham following the international rugby.
Harry graduated Nottingham Law School with a first-class degree, but for a long time knew his passions aligned more with entrepreneurship, technology, and investing (after happening across a copy of The Intelligent Investor) rather than legal practice.
Harry entered corporate finance as an executive with the UK office of CDI Global, an international network of corporate finance specialists and industry experts present in over 30 countries, where he gained broad exposure to many industries.
Harry quickly expanded his duties, taking on complete responsibility for process delivery, IT, and joining CDI’s TMT group and Marketing Committe.
Harry has a passion for company valuation, which he deploys with a common sense no nonsense approach in Inicio’s projects.
Outside of work, Harry is either playing chess, skiing, or learning Italian to keep up with his partner, and dreams of finding the time to build a cafe racer.
